After an eight year hiatus, Minh Tran returns to the stage with a new work for his company, Anicca/Impermanence, which premiers February 21-24, 2019 at Reed College, Performing Arts Building's Massee Performance Lab. This work explores the farewell rituals for departed loved ones as inspired by Tran’s recent loss of his parents.

Minh Tran participated in the Portland Dance Showcase, sharing work with a group of visiting international dance presenters.
Minh Tran is the recipient of a Professional Development Grant from the Regional Arts and Culture Council to study Balinese Dance.
Minh Tran participated in the Trisha Brown Dance Company's Summer Intensive in New York July 18-24 where he learned Brown's 1987 piece Newark (Niweweorce. At previous TBDC intensives in January 2016 and June 2015, Minh learned excerpts from Set & Reset (1983) and Gone Fishin' (1981).
Minh also attended Gamelan Cudamani Summer Institute in Bali Indonesia July 1-12th.
